June 29th at 4:22pm, this sweet girl made her appearance earthside. Sophie Lynn is just gorgeous and her parents are so smitten. You can see the love in their eyes and in the way they play with her sweet nose and cheeks in the video below.

Sometimes smiles come effortlessly, for kids, adults, even elderly people. The funny stuff can usually crack a smile. What about 90 degree heat, a half done nap, and some stranger with a funny thing strapped to her face?

That was our first date, we met in the parking lot just as Mr. Colton woke up and the date started a little rocky. I actually don't mind when people don't smile. As long as I get to see those eyes, that's all I need for a great photo.

 Mom and Dad did a great job playing and chasing entertaining Colton. Which was no small feat in the super sticky heat (poetic right?). But we got some sweet genuine smiles and a lot of "Blue Steel" looks too.

This, dear friends, is why I love lifestyle sessions so much. We can play and run around and get amazing REAL photos. And of course Colton had to laugh when Dad put on all that big blue stuff ;)
