Sneaky sneaky...

It is one of those days that I really wanted to share some gor-geous photos!  Here is my handsome and ever so romantic cousin and his beautiful wife on their 1st anniversary.  I just love that he came up with such a wonderful idea to hire Jason Eustice to play and sing their first dance song at Taylorsville Lake, and pulled it off as a complete surprise.  Priceless...

Best Of!

My favorite time of year is upon us.  It is the time when all of the big monster photo organizations post their best of winners.  I was once an aspiring photojournalist before I took on the soft pretty side of photography with my portraits.  So this the National Press Photographers Association was one organization that would give me super geeky fun for hours on end.  I kid you not, I love looking at other photographers' gorgeous photos and discovering new photo composition ideas like the majority of our youth a video game junkie would stay up with glossy eyes stuck to resident evil all night long.  Photos are my passion and the people listed in this NPPA post deserve more than only my glossy eyes at 2:00 AM.  So here it is.  The Best photos of the past year in for the eyes of NPPA.  Enjoy and don't eat too many Funyuns while in your photo-goodness-viewing trance.

Helllllo bloggers!

I am starting this blog to accompany my existing photography business/website/facebook page (I will share all of my info at the bottom of this post so you can go oogle at all of my work).  So, I guess you could say I am officially on the technological social networking band wagon...except for twitter.  I don't have enough to say to tweet all of the time.  I would rather show everyone what I am up to. 


This photo was taken just a couple of weeks ago as my husband and I were riding the sky lifts in Gatlinburg, TN.  We had the most amazing time on our honeymoon weekend and I am still a photographer, even if I am only schlepping an iPhone 4 and not the normal oodles of gear.  I love my iPhone and it takes some great shots.  But there were only a few from this altitude because I tend to be a but clumsy, and I would really like to hold on to this little piece of Apple magic for a while longer. 



So that is a little about me and I hope to continue posting as my real life and consistent photographic endeavors allow.  If anyone finds out how to get more hours out of the day, please share the love :)
